Delete your Crescent account
Crescent Astrology, by Mistiq LLC
You can delete your Crescent account and everything stored with it at any time. There are two ways to do it, and both remove the same things.
From inside the app
Open Crescent, go to Settings, and choose Delete account. You will be asked to confirm, and if you signed up with an email address and password you will be asked for that password. Deletion happens immediately and cannot be undone.
By email
If you have already uninstalled the app, or you cannot sign in, write to hello@mistiq.org from the email address on the account and ask us to delete it. We will confirm once it is done. If you signed in with Google or Apple and never set an email address with us, tell us which provider you used and the address it is attached to.
What is deleted
Everything tied to the account goes at once, permanently and with no recovery period: your account and sign in details, every birth profile you saved along with the names, dates, times, places and coordinates in them, every chart computed from those profiles, your readings, your Cosmic Bonds, your entire conversation with the astrologer, your feedback, your streak, your notification settings and any device registered for notifications.
What is kept, and why
We keep records of payments where the law requires us to, which is ordinarily seven years for tax purposes. These are billing records held by our payment processor and they are not linked back to a deleted account for any other purpose. Anonymised, aggregate counts that cannot identify you, such as how many charts were cast in a month, are not affected by deletion because they contain nothing of yours.
Your subscription is separate
If you subscribe to Crescent Plus, deleting your account does not cancel the subscription, because Apple and Google hold that agreement rather than us and neither allows us to cancel it for you. Cancel it yourself first, in your App Store or Google Play subscription settings, otherwise billing continues after your data is gone.
More detail about what we hold and why is in the Privacy Policy.
