The agreement
Crescent is operated by Mistiq LLC. By using it you agree to what is on this page. If you do not, please do not use it.
What a reading is, and is not
Crescent is for reflection and entertainment. A reading is a prompt to think with, not a professional opinion, and it is not a substitute for advice from a doctor, a therapist, a lawyer, or a financial adviser. Decisions you take after reading are yours.
We compute your chart honestly from real astronomical data, and we will tell you when something is approximate, such as when a birth time is unknown. We do not promise that any prediction will come true.
Your account
Keep your sign-in details to yourself. You are responsible for what happens under your account. Tell us if you think someone else has access to it.
Charts of other people
You can save charts for people other than yourself. Only do that if it is reasonable for you to hold their birth details, and delete them when it is not.
Subscriptions and one-off purchases
Crescent Plus renews until you cancel. On the web, payment is handled by Stripe. In the app, payment is handled by Apple or Google and is governed by their terms, including their refund rules, which we cannot override. Cancelling stops the next renewal and leaves your access running until the end of the period you already paid for.
Prices are in US dollars unless stated otherwise. Your entitlement is the same whether you subscribed on the web or in the app.
Acceptable use
Do not attempt to break, overload or reverse engineer the service, and do not resell readings as if they were your own product. Do not use Crescent to harass anyone or to make decisions about someone else without their knowledge.
Our content
The interpretations, design and code are ours. Your birth details and your questions are yours; you grant us only the permission needed to run the service for you. Tarot artwork is the 1909 Rider-Waite-Smith printing, which is in the public domain.
Availability and liability
We work to keep Crescent running but we do not guarantee it will always be available or error-free. To the extent the law allows, Mistiq LLC is not liable for indirect or consequential loss arising from your use of the service, and our total liability is limited to what you paid us in the twelve months before the claim.
Ending it
You can stop using Crescent and delete your account at any time. We may suspend an account that breaks these terms.
